Fall Academic Schedule:

August

23 Sunday

• New Student orientation, advisement and registration begins for New Students who did not attend Summer Orientation (runs through Tuesday, August 25).

25 Tuesday

• Last day to register.
Any student who has not registered by this date will be assessed a $40 Late Registration Fee.

26 Wednesday: Classes Begin

• Add/Drop begins on-line and in the Registrar’s Office (Netzer 130).

September

1 Tuesday: ADD/DROP Ends

• After this date all schedule adjustments (add/drop) for full semester courses will result in a $20 late fee.

• “W” grades are assigned for dropping a full semester course after this date.

• Last day to elect PASS/FAIL Grade option.

• After this date all Individual Course Enrollment, Independent Study,

Internship and Teaching Assistantship forms (3 s.h. or more) will result in a $20 late fee.

• Last day for students with part time enrollment to drop a course with no tuition liability.

7 Monday: Labor Day: Registrar’s Office open.

8 Tuesday: Last day to add a full semester class

• You MUST be registered in a course by this date to receive credit and grades. See chart above for mini and half-semester ADD/DROP deadlines.

• December 2009 Undergraduate Diploma and related application fee due in the Registrar’s Office, Netzer 130.

25 Friday

• College closes after last class.

30 Wednesday

• Classes resume.

• TAP certification begins. Students receiving TAP awards must be full time (12 s.h. or more) to be eligible for TAP.

October

1 Thursday

• December 2009 Master’s Diploma and related application fee due in Registrar’s Office, Netzer 130.

• Graduate Admission Applications due for Spring 2010.

12 Monday: Columbus Day: Registrar’s Office open.

16 Friday

• Interim Progress Reports due from faculty.

27 Tuesday: Withdrawal Deadline

• Last day to drop a full semester course.

November

6 Friday

• Last day for filing Independent Study, Internship, Individual Course Enrollment & Teaching Assistantship forms (less than 3 s.h.). After this date, a $20 late fee will be assessed.

9 Monday

• Beginning Date for Spring 2010 Pre-enrollment.

11 Wednesday: Veterans’ Day: Registrar’s Office open.

20 Friday: College closes after the last evening class.

• Last day for students to make up Incomplete and Pending Grades from Spring and Summer 2009 or to file the extension of time form.

30 Monday

• Classes resume.

• Last day to withdraw from the College. After this date students must complete all coursework.

December

4 Friday

• Last day for Faculty to turn in grades for previously assigned incomplete/ pending grades.

9 Wednesday

• Follow MONDAY class schedule

10 Thursday

• Follow TUESDAY class schedule

14–18 Monday through Friday

• Finals Week

2 Tuesday: LAST DAY TO ADD A FULL SEMESTER COURSE

• You MUST be registered in a course by this date to receive credit and grades. See chart above for mini and half-semester ADD/DROP deadlines.

• Students graduating in May 2010 must file a Diploma Application and related application fee in the Registrar’s office - Netzer 130.

• Declaration of major - to avoid TAP loss, students must declare a major before entering their junior year (56 s.h. completed). Forms are available in the Academic Advisement Center - Netzer 100.

17 Wednesday:

• TAP Certification begins. Students receiving TAP awards must be full time (12 s.h. or more) to be eligible for TAP. Failure to be enrolled full time will result in the loss of the award.

19 Friday: College closes after last class

March

1 Monday: Classes Resume

• Deadline for May 2010 Master’s Diploma and related application fee due in Registrar’s Office, Netzer 130.

8 Monday

• Summer session registration begins (tentative date)

18 Thursday
